15+ Powerful Prayer for Finances, Ask God for Financial Help

by Abru Farzeen

Is your heart beating faster because of your financial situation? Does your mind continue to process numbers long after you should be sleeping every night? It is the moment to pray for financial guidance from God. Giving freely or participating in short-term missions is difficult when we are already experiencing financial hardship. Then you need financial prayers for your business. If we are deeply in debt and controlled by our shifting finances, we will never be able to live the rich life that Christ promised.

One of our mentors ingrained the idea of “Pray First” in me many years ago. One weekend, he had written the two-word phrase “Pray First” all over the office. We staff members couldn’t help but notice the directive when we arrived on Monday and understood that prayer was our first task.

If money worries have consumed your thoughts, don’t give up. Jesus is more than merely the God of our deliverance. He is our Jehovah-Jireh—our supplier, mentor, and constant assistance. He yearns to guide us toward greater financial independence, among other degrees of freedom.

Strong Bible Verses for Financial Success

It’s critical to comprehend what the Bible says regarding your financial situation. One Bible passage at a time will be our primary emphasis. You may pray confidently because each is linked with action items, potent prayers, and confessions.

I had terrible money management, which led to a lot of hardships. That could also be how things are with you.

God had to change my priorities and give me solid faith to get me through. God wants you to learn something new to strengthen your faith because adversity strengthens our faith muscles.

Ask, Look, and Knock

Scripture verse Matthew 7:7 (ESV) states, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.”

The first and most crucial thing to understand is that God always keeps his promises. He clearly states that we should knock on the door of our God of plenty and beg Him, seek Him out.

God Provides for All of Your Needs

Scripture: Philippians 4:19 (ESV) “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Saying a prayer and praying are two very different things. Merely adhering to a budget in name will only be sufficient if prudent budgetary decisions are made regularly. When you submit your excellent work about money issues to God’s will, He will bless the labor of your hands.

Guide Me Away From Temptation

Matthew 6:13 (ESV): “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

It is one of the most effective prayers you can utter regarding your financial requirements. Temptation and money go hand in hand. The devil’s lie that worldly wealth is the most essential goal in life is the root of all kinds of evil.

God Is Generous in Giving

For the Lord to uphold the covenant He made with your forebears, as it stands now, you must remember Him. It is stated in Deuteronomy 8:18 (ESV).

According to scripture, a man becomes wealthy and sorrow-free when he receives the blessing of the Lord. The term “rich” has many diverse meanings, from spiritual to physical to economic. But the Lord is the one source of power that powers everything.

A person Cannot Be A Master of Two

A verse from the Bible states that no one can serve two masters because they would either love and loathe one other or be loyal to one and detest the other. Money and God cannot coexist. (Matthew 6:24, ESV).

In this passage, God makes it quite plain that you must choose your servant. Money is a cold, self-serving master. God offered His one and only Son as a sacrifice to provide you with the prospect of everlasting life. There needs to be competition for who to love and serve first.

God’s financial breakthroughs usually occur at the perfect moment. We are aware that patience is difficult. It may seem like you have given up on success, but sometimes, you need to let go of your expectations and have confidence in a brighter tomorrow for God’s job to be accomplished.

Put your trust in our Lord. “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus,” says Philippians 4:19. I know that just as our Lord has supplied for me, he will do the same for you. We need to open our hearts and eyes to truly see and experience what his supplies look and feel like.
